Hi there,
Gotten your fair share of Paris, Lindsay and Nicole today? Yep, me too... What has this to do with prophets? Pls continue to read and see :).
Just finished reading a book where a man, among other main characters, claimed pride and honor as two of his moral guidelines in living the world as we (or rather he) know it. This man was morally very firm at his way of looking at the world of course, but is he wrong? We all need guidelines, because, keeping hand close at heart, how many real conscious decisions do we take each day really? And when it comes to moral decisions? I tend to believe that we use celebs like Paris, Lindsey and Nicole as excuses for living like we do. "But hey, THEY are worse than us! Then our lives can't be that miserable and non-descriptive!".
Tatter-teller mags make me sick. I am not interested in Lindsay's latest "wrong-turn" or Nicole's four-days or Paris yet-again-forgetting-my-knickers-before-going-out. I am more interested in the world close to me and finding my path. I don't want the "tatter-teller people" to be my prophets or measuring poles for how to live my life. Where are all the good people to lead the way?
And then, pampering yourself once in a while is SOOOO good :). Worth every penny going to that spa. Have to ask, though, for that Saturday not scheduled treatment again. What that was? Hmm, some tales are actually good to be left untold :)...
Nighty night!
